Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum

This imposing red sandstone building with its stunning towers and ornate windows was built on the south bank of the River Kelvin, north west of the city centre. I have photographed it many times and included, in this first collage, one of its many towers. I have also featured a window from the north side of the building which reflects the remaining daylight and areas from the floor and ceilings. I took the photographs in winter in the late afternoon. As darkness fell the towers were lit with a warm, red light to accentuate the architecture.
