Kelvingrove Floor Square Collage

The completed collage shows areas of the marble chequerboard tiling found on the first floor of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. The actual floor is highly polished and stretches along the magnificent corridors of the building. The marble is 110 years old and was originally imported from Italy, Belgium and Norway.
