Patterns from Art School Glass.

Art School 4
All the pieces in this collage are taken from photographs of the glass from Glasgow School of Art, found on the doors of the building. The small pieces have been assembled symmetrically resulting in a design which reflects the blues, greens, ochres and browns of the original glass. Closer inspection reveals the small bubbles inside the glass, probably formed when it was made and on some surface areas, the superficial scratches which are probably the result of decades of students pushing through the doors with their painting easels and other bulky equipment.
Unlike other collages, this one is flat except for the small square in the centre.
