St Andrews In The Square Church in Merchant City is the property of The Glasgow Building Preservation Trust and is being used as the Doors Open Days hub this year. It is here that I will be exhibiting 4 collages including a new collage of the building.
The Georgian church was built between 1739 and 1756 and was designed by Allan Dreghorn and Mungo Naismith.
This collage with 3 others can be viewed from Monday 12th – Sunday 18th September 2016 between 10am and 4pm. at St Andrews In The Square.

The completed collage depicts the clocktower, arched windows, decorative stonework including the carved Glasgow Coat of Arms and several important internal features.

The hands of the internal clock inside the church and the Roman numerals have been reconstructed in the centre of the collage to form a new imaginary clockface.
